Last updated: April 17, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Recitey, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
Description of Service
Recitey is a desktop application for Windows that provides AI-powered voice dictation. The software transcribes speech and optionally applies AI text processing (grammar correction, rewriting) before inserting the result into your active application.
Early Access
Recitey is currently in early access. The software is provided “as is” and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior. We appreciate your feedback as we improve the product. Features, pricing, and terms may change during the early access period.
Free and Paid Plans
Recitey offers a free tier with limited usage (2,000 words per week) and paid plans with additional features. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Recitey to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You are responsible for all content generated using the service. Automated or programmatic abuse of the AI processing service may result in account suspension.
Intellectual Property
You retain full ownership of all text generated by Recitey from your voice input. We claim no rights over your content. The Recitey software, brand, and documentation are the intellectual property of Recitey and are protected by applicable laws.
Limitation of Liability
Recitey is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the software, including but not limited to data loss, inaccurate transcriptions, or AI processing errors. Use professional judgment before relying on AI-generated content for critical communications.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Recitey after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
